“Earraich” means “Spring” in Scottish Gael “Earraich” means “Spring” in Scottish Gaelic, a time of renewal and rebirth symbolised in this design by Celtic knotwork. As the dark, grey days of winter give way to spring, bright flowers appear in the freshly growing grass. In this design flower motifs surround the main, heart-shaped knots and appear under the heel, whilst a rectangular braid runs down the sole. 🧦These stranded colorwork socks are knit in the round from the cuff down. With pretty baby eyelet cable ribbing, a round heel, and gusset decreases placed on the sole, they can be worked in two or more contrasting colors.
